The gift or perhaps the goodies and fame and the bundles of money Satan offers those that come to Him in search of a way out are given with conditions. Yes! Nothing comes free. The difference between God's intervention in the life of those that seek him and Satan's effort to replicate that is the baggage.
While God offers a life of peace and joy and prosperity (when necessary), Satan offers a shadow of happiness. At the end one of the conditions every seeker must meet is to publicly celebrate the source of the wealth no matter how dark it may look. That is why criminals celebrate their ill-gotten wealth as you may have noticed.
By showing off their wealth, the means through which they are acquired are celebrated and promoted. That way more souls are attracted and therefore are drawn to hell. The world judges success by the amount of money made and the size of fame. But you are warned....
"Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal"
"For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also"

Keep your focus on the ultimate purpose of your coming to this world; to save as many souls as you can through the sharing of God's word. Reach out to as many as you can.
